PETALING JAYA: Commuters on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) will face a six-month traffic diversion along the Damansara-Shah Alam route at KM13.60 to KM14.35 in both directions starting today.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad said the diversion is to facilitate the construction of a pedestrian bridge across the highway, as well as maintenance work by Pinnacle Homes AD Sdn Bhd, Bernama reported.
“Motorists must comply with all traffic signs and instructions from PLUS personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of all parties,” it said in a statement.
PLUS also recommended that motorists plan their journeys and obtain the latest traffic information through the PLUS app, its official social media platforms, including X @plustrafik, and variable message signs at selected locations.
“If there is an emergency, highway users can contact PLUSLine at 1-800-88-0000 for assistance,” it said.
